Your Hearing is in Good Hands
The purpose of a hearing test is to determine, the type and degree of hearing loss. A thorough hearing assessment begins with an examination of your ears, hearing health history, and comprehensive hearing evaluation.
At our practice, we offer a wide range of solutions and it is important to remember that there is no such thing as “one size fits all.” Just as each person’s hearing loss is different, so are each person’s listening needs and preferences. What works for your neighbor or family member may not be appropriate for you.
HEARING AID SELECTION AND DISPENSING
Hearing Aid Selection should involve finding a hearing aid that meets the patient's needs. In other words, no one hearing aid manufacturer will always be the best option for every patient. Dr. NO does have manufacturer preferences. However, unlike Hearing Aid Chains, Dr. NO is not locked in with one specific manufacturer and can accommodate any, if not all manufacturer choices the patient may make.
CLEANING, REPAIRS, AND PROGRAMMING
We encourage ongoing cleaning and maintenance after your hearing aid purchase to ensure you receive optimum performance and benefit from your hearing aid(s). We encourage all our patients to come in for regular hearing aid check-ups and cleaning.
We can spend time with you and discuss ways to make listening with hearing aids easier in your day-to-day life. Family members are welcome and encouraged to come with you and learn about your hearing aids.
Repairs, Maintenance, Cleanings, and Warranties come with all brands of hearing aids. We offer in-office repairs when possible on most makes/models.
CERUMEN REMOVAL
Earwax is not a bad thing to have, but can become an issue when it will not make its way out of the ear.
Sonus offers earwax removal via water system or curettes.
